“Went on a matzoh ball soup crawl pre-covid, and really liked the one at Russ and Daughter's Cafe. Depends on the kind you're looking for, of course. It was a darker, more seasoned matzoh ball, and came with chicken and veggies (which could have been softer for my preference). I do not remember it being schmaltzy at all.”
