replying to u/everclear_handle: I haven't heard much about Yamada since it opened so I am surprised it got 4 stars so quickly. Has anyone tried this place yet? Also, I'm not that big of a fan of this review style, I'd much rather prefer they do what the infatuation does than throw four adjective laden paragraphs about eels at me

replying to u/Hnyyum: Recent openings like Muku and Jo are way more impressive, in both technique and taste. Yamada has a more photogenic style that will impress diners who aren’t necessarily looking for true flavors but the whole “experience”, which is why this review has cemented my view of Ligaya’s level of taste.
