replying to u/friendlyNYCguy: Not exactly on point but I will say the top Italian places like primola and Scalintella in the UES where they have the Eastern European waiters , are still doing checks by hand. There is a reason because they try to rip people off and ive caught them at each. And the waiters can be downright rude when brought to their attention. Although the food is pretty good there is better or just as good quality and places dont try to fuck you on the bill. Be aware
