  • Everything was well balanced and incredibly flavorful, especially the nanducurry and surprisingly, the amuse-bouche. Nothing felt repetitive; all of the sauces & textures were pretty distinct.

Kidilum was way better than Chatti for me

Kidilum genuinely reminded me of my mom’s cooking. So nostalgic, it brought tears to my eyes. Just because something is served on a beautiful plate doesn’t make it any less authentic.

  • Just dined here and have to say it was amazing! It's definitely a different approach but staying true to the authentic flavors. Have to say one of the best dinning experiences Ive had in a while.

  • replying to u/Red__dead: Yeah there have been a spate of these higher end Indian places opening by me in the last couple of years. Out of all of them I've tried - Dhamaka, Kanyakumari, Passerine, Bungalow, Adda, Semma, Ishq, Kidilum - none have blown me away exactly but they're all decent enough. Kanyakumari is probably my fave, with Dhamaka and Ishq runners up. Still prefer going to somewhere like Red Onion or Saravana Bhavan or Indian Summer in Harlem.

Kidilum felt more refined in comparison.
