    “I enjoy sorate if you are in soho. It’s very zen and I like watching my matcha be made so it’s a good way to start my work day. I usually get their soku but tried the kosui the other day and didn’t like it so not sure if quality is declining”

If they do that I’d honestly rather them decrease the water/milk amount also for a more pronounced flavor. Hojicha cappuccino - Very good. Lots of nutty and roasted flavor, I’m beginning to think I just like hojicha much more than matcha at this point.

    replying to u/CabassoG: As noted, Setsugekka. My other preference is Sorate which is expensive but outstanding and has the closest mouth feeling to Ippodo which closed a while ago. For general quality, I like the standard matcha drinks from Matchaful and I wish they were still open in Chinatown (there's still one in Soho.) Also, yes Cha Cha is ass.
