replying to u/eajacobs: I live in CDMX— nobody here had heard of this place before the Michelin guide came out. The couple of people I know who have gone have strongly advised me against going— both because of the wait times and the relatively high cost of the tacos. Just my $0.02
“Since the Michelin star, they’ve stopped doing that and it’s now no longer a place Mexicans really go willingly — in CDMX $80-100 pesos is a LOT for a taco and it’s in a neighborhood where there are SO many better and cheaper options.”

replying to u/CrwdsrcEntrepreneur: I just came back from the NoMad Tacombi and had these. I'm assuming the original ones are SIGNIFICANTLY better because these was very MEH, nowhere near Michelin star territory. When I saw the popup announcement I felt very conflicted because I really trust the Michelin Guide, but I really distrust anything Tacombi does. So not surprisingly, it was "just OK".
