Lady Mendl's Tea Salon

5.5/10

AI-generated summary

People go for the room, a tea salon in a townhouse that everyone calls beautiful. The tea selection is good, though a few say it's been pared down lately. The sandwiches are just ok, and several people said the food was mediocre and the service rough. Go for the setting, not the food.

  • replying to u/DinerEnBlanc: Adding some dessert options that I don’t see in the Bay - Lysee (High end Korean dessert bar that does tastings) - Stick with me (Chocolate bonbons from a chocolatier who worked at Per Se; very inventive flavors) - Sundae’s Best (Korean Gelato) - Lady Mendls (Afternoon tea in a beautiful Victorian house)

However, Lady Mendls was very much subpar. The food was mid the service was humbling, but the aesthetics were quite nice. If you want to go for food I would skip.

Yeah, I didn't think the sandwiches were very good at lady mendls either, but it's hard to beat the vibes.
