replying to u/Big-Sundae-3878: We've tried Blue Ribbon in midtown and it was horrible and very over priced. Even the fried chicken was just grease bomb. (again very over priced for what it is) Didn't unerstand why people were recommending it. Is it different in Soho location?

replying to u/before8thstreet: The proximity to pacific, Japanese immigrant (food) culture, and relatively low rents/labor costs in LA means its casual sushi will always be a better value than NYC. We don't have a very strong "sushi-ya" culture, which is what you are looking for. That being said, you would like Sushi on Jones, Tomoe21, Tanoshii Sushi, and Osakana.
