replying to u/Poopermensch: IMO the best Polish food in NYC is Polka Dot followed by the buffet table at the market on the corner of Java and McGuinness - take out only. Best pierogi are sold at Krajan (to heat up at home) or for sit down it’s Pierożek. But if you wanna go to a sit down proper restaurant and have anything other than pierogi then yeah, Karczma.

replying to u/Schmeep01: I would just say that when you go to Peter Pan and love it (my favorite there is the French Crueller), there are great cheap Polish eats everywhere. Borscht, pierogies, and blintzes for vegetarians.
