replying to u/Flooopo: Los Burritos Juarez is currently a popular burrito and my personal favorite. It’s super super good. But on the thinner side, no rice. Just high quality ingredients and top notch tortilla. They also do pop ups with Lisbonata and a special burrito at Gertie. There’s also Vato in park slope, similar style but different fillings options.

replying to u/OkYogurtcloset4484: I'm a huge c-roll fan, so this has been fun for me (if not my waistline). Sunday Morning is every bit what I look for my in roll - soft, pillowy, cream cheesey. Hani's is also really great for me because I love malt, and it's also just easier to get.

replying to u/ourannual: You're in luck because we're currently undergoing a cinnamon roll craze here in NYC. Sunday Morning is the #1 answer. Recommend getting there just before they open. Red Gate Bakery does a specialty roll on weekends but only does their classic cinnamon roll on Wednesday and Thursday. Hani's gets recommended a lot, they have a unique take with a malty cream cheese frosting but I prefer something a bit more ooey gooey (theirs isn't bready per se but just doesn't have a ton of filling). Haven't been to Spirals or Benji's Buns but they also specialize in cinnamon buns with a lot of flavors. As an offbeat recommendation, the chai sticky bun at Librae deserves an honorable mention. Finally I know you said Manhattan but one of the best cinnamon rolls I had recently was at Vato in Park Slope.
