replying to u/JayMoots: Funny you ask, I just had a really good Spicy Sichuan Cumin Lamb from Red Bowl in Bay Ridge. Very spicy, very numbing, but not to the point where it overpowers the flavor. If you go there, also try their crispy beef. Maybe one of the best Chinese restaurant dishes I've had in my entire time living in NYC.

replying to u/spaghettifiend: I grew up in that neighborhood. Grand Sichuan has amazing Chinese food. Little India is just a few avenues over with tons of great restaurants. Keens is awesome. Pepe Giallo is great Italian. Sushi Seki for Japanese. Qanoon restaurant.
