replying to u/no_ou: Optimizing for authenticity, spiciness, and price: 1. Uluh 2. Szechuan mountain house 3. Birds of a feather 4. Cafe China Uluh is incredible, and Szechuan Mountain House is too. They focus on slightly different cuisines (Uluh iirc is Hunan cuisine which is a bit spicier). Birds of a Feather and Cafe China I found to be good but are slightly gentrified so they feel less worth it for the price and the spice/flavor is a bit more subdued.
