  • replying to u/crazeman: There's a Joe's a few blocks from the memorial. It's more like a slice shop with limited seating though. [Adrienne's Pizza Bar](https://maps.app.goo.gl/7QUNXSHhhBMLwire8) is my pick if you want to sit down and enjoy a nice meal. It's a \~10 min walk but their pizza is excellent if you dine in. I always get the square pie (old fashion I believe) with pepperonis on it.

I love Adrienne’s, particularly on a nice day when you can sit outside on Stone St.

Came here to recommend Adrienne's, but with the disclaimer that their claim to fame is the grandma / old fashion pies and not quite NY style.

  • Their pizza used to be really good, but it was pretty soggy and not flavorful the last time I had it.

Yes. It’s a bit out of the way but if you are nearby, worth trying.

  • replying to u/26point2miles: Want a cozy Italian place with great food? Il Brigante in the Seaport. Want more of a fun vibe? Mezcali. Higher end and modern? Manahatta (incredible views from up high), The Fulton (on the water, Brooklyn Bridge views), Crown Shy. Classic steakhouse? DelMonico's. Other options: Harry's Italian, Adrienne's Pizza Bar, Mad Dog (Mexican), Felice, Keste.

Adrienne’s a contender for best pizza in the city.

We went about a month ago and were pretty disappointed. Not sure what the deal is, but it's not the same.
