replying to u/throwawayzies1234567: No it is not good. There are several Mexican restaurants over on 9th by your hotel. Rancho Tequileria is a good one, or Arriba Arriba if you want to sit outside. For a little more upscale Mexican, Tacuba is great.

replying to u/FastChampionship2628: I was going to say Dos Camino's at E 50th/3rd Ave however they have gone out of business. So maybe Rosa Mexicano (several locations, one is at E 52/2nd Ave).

replying to u/revengeofthebiscuit: Dos Caminos in Meatpacking. It won’t blow anyone’s mind but it’s a pretty safe bet for a reservation, the food is decent, and it’s in your price point. Plus they should be having some food / drink specials in the run-up to Dia de Muertos.
