Twice baked pistachio croissant is extremely dry and lacks depth. Double chocolate croissant is extremely dry, but well laminated. The brown butter cake is nice, but just nice. Also quite dry. The morning bun was well made but also lacked depth or richness. Maybe it’s an excellent bakery for savory items? But truly, I’d give it a skip.

Foster Sundry also carries not only L'Imprimerie breads, but some from Roberta's, and another bakery that I am currently blanking on... There's also Bonjour Brooklyn, which is more of a pastry place, and not fantastic, but the little French woman who runs the place does sell some in-house breads, too.

replying to u/the_chonkist: The croissants are really bad at Radio bakery but the savory items really good. The burrata sandwich is so damn good. I think NYC just has a different standard for croissants than I do. I cannot stand a either dry or doughy croissants. There's a balance between flakiness, buttery-iness, and lightness that only L'impirie in Bushwick gets close to replicating. Everything else I get in the city is just a giant pile of dough, like a costco crossiant.
