The review in the NYer made it sound incredible, but everything we ordered was middling, the place is loud and ugly, and everyone working there acts like you're lucky to be waiting for them to pay attention to you. I was pretty shocked.

If someone wants to be $1000 for a Carbone reservation, then open a members only Carbone and charge $30k/year for it They’re just trying to generate money off the hype and the long lines they know they’ll have  IMO Gjelina is over hyped, Gjusta is their true gem in LA
