replying to u/secret_identity_too: I love El Centro (54th & 9th) although I don't think they have dessert. I'm usually too full to even consider it, anyway. Their shrimp enchiladas are incredible. They also have a happy hour even on weekends. I've never had a bad meal there.

replying to u/FastChampionship2628: I was going to say Dos Camino's at E 50th/3rd Ave however they have gone out of business. So maybe Rosa Mexicano (several locations, one is at E 52/2nd Ave).

replying to u/throwawayzies1234567: No it is not good. There are several Mexican restaurants over on 9th by your hotel. Rancho Tequileria is a good one, or Arriba Arriba if you want to sit outside. For a little more upscale Mexican, Tacuba is great.
