Terre

7.3/10Italian

AI-generated summary

Get the . People say it's fresh and made in house, and a few call it the best in the city, better than Al di La. The is all natural and the list gets praised on its own. Not everyone agrees though. A handful of people had gummy, underseasoned food and cold service. It's pricey either way.

  • Terre in Park Slope. Mostly because it seems like an unassuming small local Italian spot, but the owners are from Italy, all the pasta is fresh and homemade, all wine is natural and it is INSANELY GOOD.

  • replying to u/DC25NYC: Bamontes is def old world Italian. Have you been to Terre yet? I like it better than Al di la

Terre holds the distinction of "worst meal I've had in NYC so far". Everything was gummy, underseasoned, weird af, the service almost bordered on hostile and a bunch of tables were dirty.

  • replying to u/BigOlSandwichBoy: i'm not saying this to be snotty because so many people have had such good things to say about Terre that it must have been wholly non-representative, and I may in fact give it another chance, but Terre holds the distinction of "worst meal I've had in NYC so far". Everything was gummy, underseasoned, weird af, the service almost bordered on hostile and a bunch of tables were dirty.

I also had a pretty poor meal when I went to Terre on a date earlier this year. This cod dish in particular the fish tasted fishy in a not-fresh way, and everything on the plate clashed in terms of flavor and texture, as well as being under seasoned.

  • replying to u/DC25NYC: Terre- Park Slope Granted as much as I love it- It is JUST as pricey as all the hot spots.

Terre is great! A bit on the pricey/upscale side though for sure, for instance wouldn't take kids there.

  • replying to u/Patient_Bad5862: Not pasta Louise in park slope. I like terre and Al di la. Piccoli is underrated but they have a great selection of pasta dishes. Flora has a few pasta dishes that are worth checking out

The pasta itself isn’t as good as terra imo
