replying to u/lithopsbella: There’s really a ton of good Dominican/puerto rican restaurants in many neighborhoods. Some of my faves: Reyes in Sunnyside, El manjar in greenpoint is great. Puerto viejo in crown heights. La parada in sunset park(for the rotisserie chicken, beans, plantains). La Cabana and Yolanda’s in Corona/elmhurst, Cocotazo and cuchifritos in East Harlem. Tina restaurant on 125th. Casa Adela is good, esp for the neighborhood. And if you’re in the Bronx there’s a great spot on every other block.
