replying to u/healingopal: I’d recommend trying Malatesta Trattoria in the West Village. The food is consistently great, it’s not over priced, and it’s cozy/romantic especially during the Holiday season. They are walk-in only but on Tuesday you shouldn’t have a problem getting a table. :)
