“Their hand-pulled noodles are really fresh, and the chili oil they use with the cumin lamb gives it a nice depth. A little less mainstream than Xi’an, but super solid.”

“I found a lot of Manhattan Chinese spots (mostly in Chinatown) to be overrated too, like Mei Lai Wah, Super Taste, Potluck Club, Wah Fung, 1915 Lanzhou, and Dunhuang and as alternatives, I'd much rather go to many of the underrated Manhattan Chinatown bakeries (like Tai Pan, New Cameron, or Tao Hong) or just make the trek to Flushing (especially the New World Mall).”
