replying to u/Konflictcam: Noodle Pudding in Brooklyn Heights is a great, old school red sauce Italian spot. If you’re down for an adventure, Arthur Ave. in the Bronx has a number of places that are exactly what you’re looking for.

replying to u/BigOlSandwichBoy: i'm not saying this to be snotty because so many people have had such good things to say about Terre that it must have been wholly non-representative, and I may in fact give it another chance, but Terre holds the distinction of "worst meal I've had in NYC so far". Everything was gummy, underseasoned, weird af, the service almost bordered on hostile and a bunch of tables were dirty.

replying to u/Jog212: Noodle Pudding in Brooklyn Heights. It is just over the Bridge. Its stop in Bklyn on 2,3,A,anc C trains. They will have them Francese style. They are not on the menu but will be a special frequently. It's a great Italian restaurant with fresh seafood from Montauk. It is cash only FYI!
