Grand Street Pizza

8.2/10

Thin and crispy with no flop, and plenty of people say it beats Scarr's. The and the get named most, and there's a tiny bar with and . A few say the slice is so thin you need two. Regulars like that there's still no line.

This right here. grand st gets it right with a nice crispy thin NY slice (I like to order mine well done). Good sauce balance with the cheese (nothing overpowering). Love their vodka slice as well as their pepperoni

  • replying to u/Strange1130: I waited like maybe 15-20 minutes at the Williamsburg location the other weekend. I’d have been pissed if I waited 50. Anyway I thought it was quite good. I think I gave it an 8/10 and my GF similar. My GF got the burrata slice which was better than the one I got (a daily special, white slice with sausage). But I love a crispy thin slice. We then walked over to Fini and I thought the pizza was a bit better (not as crispy, but tasted better) and there was no line.

Taste wise the plain slice reminds me of a classic NY slice but I wished it wasn’t so wispy thin and floppy.

  • replying to u/AfterPause5856: It’s solid for a slice with friends before hitting the bars but the line can be miserable at times but it’s a solid option especially for that part of Manhattan, I mean what else is down there? Una Pizza? That’s also impossible to get into lol

Great pizza. Great atmosphere. Great staff. No line. No hype.

Yes! Great plain slice, vodka slice, & pepperoni slice (they have hot honey that you can add too). IMO better than all the other shops in the area
