replying to u/carnimiriel: In terms of trying, I've heard that Pave uses Bordier to make their croissants and also puts it in their jamon beurre. I usually buy Isigny Ste-Mère and they're available at several different stores, including Sahadi's.

replying to u/greenbean94: Bordier butter! It’s $20 a package at Le District and $3-4 in France. You can get it at Grande Epicerie (which is a great stop if you’re a foodie anyway). They will vacuum seal it for you. Mariage Freres tea is really good and they have a few stores in Paris. And Côte d’Or chocolate bars. It’s just supermarket chocolate but not sold in the US. I also like wandering around the grocery section at Monoprix and seeing what speaks to me. I’ve come back with truffle sauce, pesto, crème de Cassis, canned tuna, lentils - all kinds of stuff.
