  • Most overrated: Janie’s. They are overly sweet, overly small for the price and the kicker is that they taste homemade/amateurish but in a way where I’m put off by paying $4 for a cookie.

  • [Janie's Life Changing Baked Goods](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CgoZPhFYAVXBUtBF9) is 2 blocks from the museum and have these amazing pie crust cookies. Definitely worth trying.

  • replying to u/mirage_note: I love Janie's. I first had her pie crust cookies at the Queens Night Market before the pandemic. She opened up a shop in the UWS since then. Levain Bakery and Chip City are phenomenal choices too! 🙌 They have several locations through the city.

  • replying to u/WhatAreYouWhereAmI: I’m sorry but am I missing something or did it start trending recently but I’ve never seen Janie’s recommended on this sub until a week or two ago and now I see it all the time. Was I always just skipping over this or has anyone else noticed this too?

Their pie cookies are really good.
