Get the , or a from the slice shop side. The is the other thing people order every time, and the is worth staying for. The is sourdough, from the Ops team. It's right by L'Industrie without the line, though a few people say service drags.

  • replying to u/Additional-Store-419: To try their cantaloupe flavor (if it ever rotates back) w/ some olive oil and sea salt is on the top of my bucket list! Been wanting to try Leo for a minute now!

Ya leos is great cuz of the sourdough. If u eat a lot of neopolitan u can really start to distinguish the bread flavor compared to some other hyped places in Manhattan that use cheaper bread.

  • My favourite caesar salad and their rigatoni amatriciana. I think I might prefer their pasta to their pizza, but I still really like their pizza.

  • replying to u/RecycledAccountName: I think people assume with its branding and tik tok hype that it’s probably owned by some restaurant group or backed by VC money, or has celebrity investors, or whatever the fuck. Williamsburg, soho, west village and similar neighborhoods are chock full of those places and i share people’s aversion to them. I looked into Apollo and was surprised to find that it’s from the owner of Leo, and it was basically a pet project of his during the pandemic. He’s a born and raised New Yorker who grew up in the restaurant industry. That was enough for me to give Apollo a shot when I walked by at off hours. I was still expecting to be underwhelmed by the bagels and cross it off my list for good - but, damnit. Those bagels are unbelievably good.

a delicious guanciale egg and cheese that you cant get at the other locations
