replying to u/beernerd6: There’s arguably better slices than Joe’s. For example, Mama’s Too, L’Industrie, Scarr’s or newcomer Cello’s. What about burgers? I’d suggest Hamburger America, Joe’s Junior, or Red Hook Tavern. What about desserts or pastries? Dough Donuts, Levain? (I’m not an expert here but throwing it out there). What about Italian?
“Cello's is great. The texture is perfect and sooo crispy. Not the most flavorful sauce but they grate fresh cheese on top after baking and offer hot honey so I'm a fan.”
