They do a porchetta popup for lunch Thursday-Saturday, [here's the menu](https://images.getbento.com/accounts/3ef1cd5daa390127f9aa37030d58412c/media/images/74194P.S._Mailer_Front_11.30.24.jpg?w=1800&fit=max&auto=compress,format&cs=origin&h=1800). $21 sandwiches currently though. The rotisserie stall in Eataly Flatiron also had quality porchetta by the pound last time I checked.

replying to u/nippyhedren: Without really knowing what your focus is … here are my thoughts; Skip - Porto Rico, Grace St, Balthazar, Yasouvlaki, Nonna Dora, Bubbys, La Bonne Soup, Da Toscano Pick between - Ci Siamo, Don Angie, Torrisi. Ci Siamo will be easiest of those to get into. If you want one French bistro type place - Minetta (walk in early for a bar seat) Chez Fifi, or Le Veau D’or if you can get reservations. Pick between Birria Landia, Los Tacos, and Ramirez. Search this sub for spots in Chinatown both manhattan and flushing and do a little casual crawl or pick a spot for dim sum. Add a bagel, a pizza spot, and a classic New York deli (all easily searchable here). Do you not like Asian food? Massive gap without any Japanese Thai or Korean.

replying to u/SurvivingStage4: Both fantastic. Each of them is just as good as Torrisi. I've been to each of the three numerous times. Not difficult to get reservations at L'Artusi or at Da Toscano if you are just the slight bit flexible, and look shortly after reservations drop. Again, both of those are absolutely terrific. My wife and I prefer them over Torrisi, but we remain big fans of Torrisi. Da Toscano is smaller, a little more quiet, with somewhat more personalized service, than L'Artusi. L'Artusi can feel a bit rushed and busy, sometimes a bit of pressure to hurry up and get out. Seating is pretty tight and if you sit downstairs it's noisy. Upstairs less noisy but pretty plain. Da Toscano is always laid back. That said, the food is so good at each. If you are dessert fans I'd make the decision based on that. Their dessert menus are quite different from each other.
