Get the , people call them the lightest and fluffiest they've had. The fan tuan is the other pick, and the ones who know Taiwanese food say it's the harder thing to make well. The is the argument. It's the famous order, but a lot of people find it greasy and too heavy for the price, and say the on a is the better call. Expect a line.

  • This is a wonderful taiwanese spot with amazing hot food and an arguably even better latte. They strike a great menu balance of traditional dishes and items that are fun but aren’t stupid. Everything tasted great, and I would gladly go back here.

  • their scallion pancake is way too tough and thick. and not sure why they use super wet rice to make their fan tuan, not how it's supposed to be.

  • replying to u/StellaHolly: Thanks! Looks like they do a scallion pancake & egg sandwich which seems promising.

their scallion pancakes are too thick and dry. they make fan tuans but for some weird reason use really wet rice, and they're tiny.

  • replying to u/WredditSmark: Is it good or is it hype LMK

it is mostly hype. I live around the corner and go every once in a while, but I would absolutely not trek out for it. I would say 7/10.

  • It was OK? The yao tiu in the fan tuan were cremated, not the style I like. I think the scallion pancake was good too, but not sure I'd be paying such a premium for it.

  • Good food but not worth the wait (which was 45 min when we visited a couple of months ago). The breakfast sandwich with the eggs and leek was the best thing we ordered, but even that was a bit too oily.

  • This was one of the best things I’ve eaten ever. Sublime. The light texture of the bun with the delicate crunch of the panko. The sweet and savory of the milk and curry.
