replying to u/Big_Split_9484: This isn’t going to be groundbreaking, but I go to Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao almost exclusively for the soup dumplings. I’ve tried most of their appetizers, and they’re good, but I’d rather fill up on dumplings there and then get some protein elsewhere whenever I’m doing a food crawl in Flushing. At Great NY Noodletown, I usually stick to the ribs, duck, bok choy or eggplant, and some fried rice, depending on whether we’re dining as a group of two or four. That combination never disappoints. I also have a friend who’s very disciplined about ordering only a few specific dishes at each restaurant. Whenever she’s at Nobu, she gets the yellowtail jalapeño, broccoli, and a sushi selection. At Jeju Noodle Bar, she only orders the noodles. That’s her way, and honestly, I kind of respect it.
