The is why people go. , caramelized onions and a sauce people love, and you can get at the same table. The warning that repeats is that it's messy and very rich, and the bun tends to fall apart halfway through. Plenty of people find it overrated and under seasoned. Regulars say the Brooklyn original beats the newer locations.

  • replying to u/Extreme-World-100: Here for the recs bc I also love Caesar salads! I love the one at Emily West Village but it’s pretty anchovy forward so you have to like that.

And they also use the freshest whole leaf romaine, with amazing crunch, that just brings it all together. It's a bit of a "deconstructed" Caesar, but it's still one of my favorites.

  • Their WV location has always had a rat problem. I lived in the neighborhood and they used to fail every inspection and had to shut down and hire exterminators. I would go to their other locations instead.

I really didn't like their pizza. Maybe I went on an off day, but it was cracker-like and soggy at the same time.
