  • It was a very good pizza, a great pizza even. I can’t recommend it to a visitor when you could spend your limited time in NYC doing other things AND get a different pizza that is just as good for less effort.

  • replying to u/crazeman: Maybe the tomato slice from Ceres is worth a try. I didn't specifically try their tomato slice but their mushroom slice was really fucking good so I assume that their tomato slice is probably at least pretty good. I think they put some cheese on top but I'm sure you can ask them not to put any.

Theirs is my fave so far in the city. The sauce has an amazing garlic kick and the tomatoes are super gravy-like + sweet. The dough (p sure sourdough) is delicious.

Agreed the pizza is very good. The sour dough gives it a firmer crispy bottom. No flop at all.

  • replying to u/Fuhgedoughboudit: Planning on heading there next week. What’s their “signature slice?”

Mushroom slice is my favorite. I go there once a week since right by me. I know people are complaining about the price point which is fair. But it’s one of those better quality ingredients makes it more. They do a sourdough pizza dough which is 🤌🏼

  • replying to u/Ihateallcommies: So how was it? Watched UA Eats video on it and he said it tasted like a cracker and banged it against a metal pole lol Wondering other peoples opinions

It was very good, and a novel experience to have a pie be that crispy and hold its shape like that, buut i found the flavors a bit one note.
