replying to u/kyliejennerslipinjec: Not to be that asshole but this has already been asked on here numerous times and my answer (and others’) is always the same - it’s fine, not worth all the trouble it takes to get a reservation, and there are plenty of other Italian spots downtown and otherwise that are just as good if not better that don’t cater to the Instagram or the forced eXcLuSiViTy crowd

replying to u/Rejg: \- Keen's; not quite violent but certainly not my favorite compared to others. \- Monkey Bar; great atmosphere but worse food than Au Cheval / 4 Charles imo, and 4 Charles wins on atmosphere by a mile \- Torrisi; I could not get myself to love it \- Waverly Inn; good atmosphere but I've been \~3 times and the food has been edible at best \- Soothr; again not violent at all, I like it a lot actually. But Glur on 19th is absolutely delicious and better imo \- Minetta Tavern; worse burger than Au Cheval IMHO
