↳replying to u/thansal: The Temple Canteen. Easy parking, great food, inexpensive, right there. My personal favorites are probably the Pondicherry Masala Dosa, the Ghee Roast, and the Rava Dosa. The Paper Dosa is spectacular and the texture is great, but I like the added flavors of the other options instead. If you have a little kid w/ you, get a paper dosa. You can't really go wrong tbh.
A warning about Lake Pavilion: Parking around there sucks super bad. They have a parking lot, but it's almost always full to the gills, as is any street parking nearby. I haven't been post pandemic, so maybe it's cooled off some, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Since you're driving, you could also take advantage of that and go further out on Northern for Korean. Places like Picnic Garden (long standing AYCE KBBQ), Witch Topokki (AYCE Tteokbokki chain, not been but heard good things), and a whole lot more.
