replying to u/CabassoG: Note: Generally not a fan of sweeter teas/anything powdered (so I don't like Vivi/Xin Fu Tang) Oolong: ChaHalo, Teazzi (RIP to their Manhattan locations) Jasmine: Molly I liked Jooy from the one time I tried it. TeaDo and iMilky are decent. Have yet to try TeaPulse/will try it soon.

replying to u/CabassoG: In terms of bubble tea places that serve stronger milk teas: Oolong- ChaHalo, Teazzi. Would recommend the Osmanthus oolong at the former and the Four Seasons oolong at the latter. Both- Chicha San Chen (if you don't mind the wait.) There's also a spot in Flushing called Chayann, which notably serves Da Hong Pao/Big Red Robe as a milk tea, but the reviews seem mixed.
