replying to u/LoriJayneNYC: Underrated- MANOS, it’s so good, it’s the best pizza, but I do still love Sal and Carmines if you’re uptown and hungry. Underrated- Shanghai Zhen Gong Fu, best XLB in the city, all varieties, headed there now for my Jewish Christmas Eve Underrated- max soha up on 122nd and Amsterdam, perfect nyc trattoria Underrated- the pastor cart outside Myrtle wyckoff trains at night with 3/5 taquitos, when they’re on they’re on. Underrated- holiday cocktail lounge, a pretty perfect place to drink a well made but zero pretension cocktail/comfy booths and great vibe/zine menu Underrated- JUA, best sub $150 tasting menu I’ve had in the last few years, still dream of their sweet potato donut and striped jack

replying to u/LoriJayneNYC: Try Shanghai Time on 38th in the city for xlb or their best soup dumpling variety is the pan fried aka shenxiangbao they make the soupiest best ones I’ve found in town. So good.
