    replying to u/Forking_Shirtballs: Love empanada mama, didn't know they kept late hours. Remedy's never done it for me, tho I can say that about pretty much every diner I've tried in NYC (why every diner here seems to be, like, two notches below your basic Waffle House in the south is beyond me). Don't know why I haven't tried Essex Taqueria yet, that one goes on the list. Thanks!

    replying to u/norcalfiend: Burrito bowl from Essex Taqueria - was rated highly on Google and Uber Eats and was close by so figured why not walk there. Had the worst Mexican food I've ever had in my life. Summer Salt is also down there, albeit at least there you know you're getting fusion, but it's a terrible version if it.
