  • replying to u/elemonated: Aw, you didn't like Goodnight Sonny? We used to do karaoke and then rally there for my husband's birthday because we have a friend who used to live across the street, and then just for tradition. It's always crowded but they're always game to run us any weird shot we ask for and it's honestly a great place to talk after. We've established a number of inside jokes there, but maybe that's just be bragging about my friends more than actually enjoying the bar. Also, key point, I have never paid for this part of the night so perhaps that's what's going on. Similarly, Subject but I've only been there during the pandemic and so I've only been outside, freezing my ass off. Honestly really fun and lovely service during the pandemic though, hot toddies and the requisite pb&j because that's what bars had to do at the time? I had a great time. And what didn't you like about Library of Distilled Spirits? I was considering going soon, so I'd love to hear what you thought!

I had a good time at Sonny's and Distilled, but to me, there's much better out there.
