Silver RiceCHAIN

6.8/10Japanese

AI-generated summary

Cheap rolls that people order on repeat, and regulars call it strong value for Brooklyn. The menu is short. A couple of people hit an off night with fish that didn't smell fresh, though longtime orderers say that's never happened to them.

  • replying to u/snowbeast93: Shocked you didn’t like Silver Rice, I find it to be of fantastic quality, the guys who run it are legit Otherwise, you could try DOMODOMO (ghost kitchen but I’ve found the quality to be quite good), Daiso is also good but Silver Rice is superior IMO Otherwise, there’s plenty of typical sushi joints with mega rolls around, Sumi Sushi on Flatbush used to be a favorite, along with Koto Sushi, Oita Sushi, etc (Side note: Cobble Hill and DTBK are not in south Brooklyn; if anything, they’re in northwestern Brooklyn. Just because something is south of Williamsburg does not mean it’s in south BK)

I liked silver rice but maybe the last time was just an off night the fish had a not so fresh smell.
