  • replying to u/CabassoG: There's a excellent new Indian spot called [MUNA](https://www.yelp.com/biz/muna-new-york-2) which opened up recently. 46th between Lex and 3rd. They have a great prix fixe. $27 for 3 courses though I paid $3 extra for the excellent chili salmon and a bit extra for the mango kulfi (I think $2 more.) If you don't mind a bit of a walk and you want a nicer spot, Chola is outstanding at 58th between 2nd and 3rd. Not much Mexican food around there outside of Sinigual which I've heard mixed things about. There's a new hole in the wall Mexican spot called Cinco De Mayo but it's takeout only. There's apparently a good Mexican/Peruvian spot called Frida on 52nd but I've not been.

I just tried Muna today. It was good, the awning says it is "By Sathi", which is also the restaurant around Union Square.
