replying to u/tacologic: I brought up this topic in the past, and found it difficult to get a list of places that make tortillas to order. To me, this makes all the difference between a good and great taco and something I'm happy to travel for. I think La Morada in The Bronx does (and their mole is top notch). Mally's in Bushwick does too, though their fillings are good not great. Birria Landia does not make their tortillas to order, but the birria is really good, so it can work in a pinch.
