replying to u/jaded_toast: So the thing at Homemade Dumpling I'm pretty sure is something that you most frequently see at other restaurants labeled as a "chive pocket". It's not a scallion pancake and shouldn't contain any scallions in it. The first two Chinese characters on the menu item are Chinese chives, or garlic chives, and that combo of chives, glass vermicelli, and egg are pretty classic. (I hope that this doesn't sound like a criticism, and I certainly don't mean it that way!)
