replying to u/Pizzacat0802: I second this. Born and raised in Jersey, but lived in NYC now for 20 years so I’ve eaten at a lot of diners in both places and Jersey diners are just superior. My favorite diner is Tops diner, in East Newark, which you can get to via the Path train to Harrison and a short cab ride. But talk to anyone from Jersey and you’ll get all kinds of suggestions.
