↳replying to u/Jyqm: Feel like I've missed several weeks of these, but I've got lots of Bed-Stuy recs! West to east:
* Clementine Bakery: Vegan pastries and sandwiches really have no business being this tasty.
* The Fly: Primarily a wine bar, but also serving up some really succulent rotisserie chicken. Seasoned fries are also a must.
* Martha's Cocina Mexicana: Newcomer that's already become very popular. Great tacos, quesadillas, and enchiladas. (The mole enchiladas might be the best I've ever had.) Rice and beans are on point, too.
* Fan Fan Donuts: Formerly Dough, and I believe with one of the same owners. Tons of great flavors.
* Chilo's: Primarily a bar with a great mezcal selection, but perhaps even better known for their taco truck in the back.
* Brooklyn Kolache: If you don't know what kolaches are, look 'em up, then book it over. Sweet and savory both available, the latter in meat and vegetarian varieties. Great place to grab a TooGoodToGo surprise bag, too, though it's best to go early if you can, as they make all the kolaches for the day in the morning, and once they're gone, they're gone.
* Bombay Heights: The go-to Indian spot, especially for takeout and delivery. Friendly owners, been there for years.
* Abu's Homestyle Bakery, Ali's Trinbago Roti Shop, and A&A Bake Doubles and Roti: Putting these three together cause the real move is to just ease on down Fulton until you're stuffed.
* Swell Dive: Mainly a bar, but also serving great Filipino-inspired tacos.
* Shipwreck Seafood Bou…
“Recently got to Trad Room recently and it was refreshing, really tasty and interesting flavor combinations.”
