replying to u/Garconavecunreve: If you’re family is Italian with a slight appreciation of traditional cuisine Bad Roman is the last place I’d take them tbh. The food isn’t per se bad but: 1. Overpriced 2. Italian-maximalist fusion - intended to polarise Hearth delivers exactly on what it promises: Italian inspired home cooking elevated. Nothing “Instagrammable” but honest, good quality food and a homely atmosphere. Can’t comment on allora but looks like olive garden tried to serve to go “luxury”. Have you considered other Italian options in Manhattan?
