  • I went to Allora for the first time with a friend of mine in town and it blew us away. The service was incredible, the server made my Caesar salad at the table from scratch and explained the nuances in making Caesar dressing. The lobster ravioli was incredible

  • replying to u/Garconavecunreve: Personal Opinion: that does not look appetising whatsoever… Anyone been to Allora and can share their experience/opinion?

Went there for a corporate meal - nobody in the group liked anything about that restaurant. I would not recommend.

  • replying to u/Garconavecunreve: If you’re family is Italian with a slight appreciation of traditional cuisine Bad Roman is the last place I’d take them tbh. The food isn’t per se bad but: 1. Overpriced 2. Italian-maximalist fusion - intended to polarise Hearth delivers exactly on what it promises: Italian inspired home cooking elevated. Nothing “Instagrammable” but honest, good quality food and a homely atmosphere. Can’t comment on allora but looks like olive garden tried to serve to go “luxury”. Have you considered other Italian options in Manhattan?

I agree Allora is giving luxury Olive Garden 😂
