replying to u/PhotonBath: Vegetarian Dim Sum house, Pell St. Chinatown. It looks like a dump and the waitstaff barely tolerates you, but those dumplings are amazing. (It is actually vegan.) Francia Cafe, Park Ave & 34th. Delicious. Blossom on Columbus. Everything is good, but the pizzas are my favorite. Sharing a pizza and a salad is a great meal for two. Candle Cafe. (Actually haven't been to the new location yet, but all their previous locations were delicious.) Confectionery! for desserts, chocolates, etc.
