↳replying to u/shelbyan: Inwood Farm right off Inwood Hill Park- great bakery items and coffee, or good for brunch, lunch and dinner! Casual place you can work from during the day that has a more restaurant feel at night. Also yummy gelato
Tubby Hook/ Tryon Public House- Irish pub staples- same owner. Great burgers and wings
Park Terrace Deli - great quick service and sammies. Inwood Gourmet is another solid bodega option with fair prices closer to Dyckman
Pizza palace! Unmatched plain slice- reminds me a lot of Sam’s in the Bronx
Elsa restaurant- Dominican food with a line out the door always
Taqueria Los Jarritos- great tacos, tostadas, burritos - super good chips and salsas
ChocNYC if you want something sweet
Bunnii and Kuro Kirin are good alternative coffee shops to Starbucks on Broadway. Bunnii has great pre-prepped food items and some Ethiopian fare
Ten-Tan- good Chinese. I’ve only had delivery but only good experiences and quick service. If you want the best Chinese food in NY- go to Mei Chung Mei on 231st street off the 1 train. Bronx but it’s totally worth it!
Skip Inwood bagels- it’s so bad and overpriced. We’ve yet to get a good bagel spot up here unfortunately
