replying to u/lzw091: The vibes at Balthazar are fun but the food is slightly above average at best and overpriced for what it is. That said, I’d still go because you’ll be by yourself and solo diners get a glass of champagne on the house! Just order the fries and oysters instead of a full meal, then get a slice somewhere nearby (lots of good recs in this thread)
