replying to u/rayrayraybies: Falafel Tanami in Midwood is excellent cheap hole in the wall falafel. King of Shawarma and Falafel in Astoria is supposed to be the best in the city, but if you go to the brick and mortar instead of a truck, be warned their interior decorating sensibility is unique. (I get the political message they’re going for, but I do not want to eat my lunch next to a mural of press getting shot and children cowering)
