replying to u/donut_butt: I've only been to two other Afghan restaurants, so my knowledge is pretty limited: * Khyber Pass on St Marks * Kabul Kebab House in Flushing At both of those places, the rice seemed a little dry for my tastes, which turned me off Afghan restaurants for a bit. Sami's is WAY better than my experience at those other places. The rice is fluffy and flavorful. The chicken is perfectly cooked. I can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu.
